Sigh. The ban on gay marriage has been passed. Thousands of gay couples across the country are up in arms about it and rightfully so. Gay couples were not allowed to marry, then they were allowed to marry, then with the passing of Prop 8, they aren't allowed to marry.. AGAIN. WTF, right? This isn't The Sims! This is REAL LIFE! These are real human feelings you are toying around with!

This is sad, sad, sad. I guess the majority of people just tolerated them, but when they were given a chance to be truly treated as equals in the eyes of the law, the 52% of California voters just couldn't take it. It makes no sense to me, whatsoever.

Speaking of things that don't make sense, the CEO of my company has been making lots of lousy decisions, and as a result my company may go under. I might find myself out of a job in 2009. After all the isolation I've experienced in the past few months and this back pain I have now due to all the time I spend sitting in my cubicle and commuting (one hour each way), I'm actually kinda looking forward to being a housewife again (dog + carpet = lots of vacuuming!!). I might even go back to tutoring, or doing more people-oriented stuff like being a salesgirl or volunteering. Will I get a pay cut? Yes, a pretty big one. Will I be happier? Probably...
